For those that don't know, I also run the instagram account for the Pin Makers Super Group! We are starting a new feature where each Friday we will highlight a different member of the group! I started it out by featuring myself, since I'm the one running it and thought I should introduce myself! Every Friday, we will be featuring someone from our ever-growing group of Pin Makers! I figured I will start the series off by introducing you to myself! I am Whitney, I run this account on behalf of the PMSG. I’m also the one-woman show behind @lilboatboutique! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Lil Boat Boutique started back in 2016 with stationery and wedding invitations! But it turns out I was much more passionate about my pin collection than I was about weddings, so here we are! I have found ways to combine both worlds, like my Mr. and Mrs pin sets, and designing custom pins for friends' weddings! I'm still obsessed with all things DIY and paper, so I am currently hand-making all of my backing cards. (I will probably move away from this in the future so I can spend more time on actual product rather than the packaging!) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I live in Indianapolis with my boyfriend and our dog, and my work-space varies from my day job, to the living room floor, to the couch, to the dining room table (and we have a dedicated “office” 🤫) My absolute favorite place to work is in our backyard when there's no snow or bugs (like 1 week a year)
